The Maserati Spyder was designed as a two-seater
that could offer the kind of spacious cabin, comfort
and practicality that is not always found in such
a class of heigh-performance sports car.
The automatic soft-top is powered by an electro-hydraulic
system and is activated with a push-button located
on the centre console. This hood disappears completely
into its own well, separated from the boot and is
hidden and protected by a body-coloured tonneau
cover.
